After the image has loaded into frame 3 (it will take several minutes),
choose the reference image to be loaded into this frame from the selection
menu above. Options:
a high resolution version of the document in frame 3;
similar documents with transcriptions from the West Sussex palaeography
site (WS-2 to 6);**
a table of abbreviations/suspensions with illustrations from these documents
[in progress];
none of the above - close this frame by sliding border with the cursor.
Use cursor to find the active areas of the image below. The transcription
will, when completed, appear in a text box under each line or line segment.
Each line is divided in twos or threes depending on the document
width, and the active areas are at the beginning of each line and either
adjacent to, or midway between, the document folds.
